Luxe TV is a sculptural storage console handcrafted from repurposed oil-drum metal. Designed in 2010, the cabinet preserves the industrial identity of its material — red branding, scratches, oxidation, dents, and abrasion marks — transforming raw steel into contemporary African design.
The unit combines practical function and collectible craftsmanship, featuring two doors, one sliding door, six drawers, and open shelves for cables or media equipment.
Built in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, Luxe TV stands at the intersection of sustainable craft, industrial recycling, and art-design innovation — a one-of-a-kind piece for lofts, studios, galleries, and creative homes.
